- How do I open an account with Ditto?
Give us a call at 412-434-6666 and a customer service representative or account manager will talk to you about opening an account and get you the required paperwork. It's easy to do.
- How do I transmit an electronic file to Ditto?
We have made electronic file transfer easy by allowing you to upload the file directly through our website. Simply go to the "Send a File" page and follow the online instructions. If you're transmitting an order along with the digital file, go to the "Place a New Order" page, provide us with all the project specifications and upload the digital file(s) in one easy step.
- What are Ditto's hours?
We are here to serve you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year (366 days in leap years). When you call us at any time of the day or night, you'll talk to a real person. If you don't believe us, stop in some time...we're always open!
- What is a "proof"?
A proof is a way of ensuring that we have set your type accurately and that everything is positioned according to your requirements. Typically, we will produce a proof which will be sent to you online or printed on paper which can be viewed in our store or delivered to you in person.
On multiple color jobs, we can produce a color proof on our color output device to show how the different colors will appear.
- Why do I need to look at a proof if I've already given you everything I need to have done?
We employ human beings to produce your work and, last time we checked, humans are not perfect. Your approval on the final proof is assurance that you have looked over every aspect of our work and approve it as accurate. It benefits everyone if errors are caught in the proofing process rather than after the job is completed and delivered.
- How do I go about getting an estimate from you?
